    legalsystems,leadingtovarioussubtleandevensignificantdifferencesinthe

    interpretationoflegaldocumentsandterminology.Fromthisperspective,the

    importanceoflegaltranslationisbecomingincreasinglyprominent,asthetranslation

    oflegalacademicworkscanenhancetargetedreaders’understandingofthelogic,

    terminology,requirements,andotheraspectsoflegalprovisions,constitutingan

    essentialpartoflegaltranslation.

    ThisreportselectsSection5,Chapter7ofFalvXingweiLunwrittenby

    DaixiongYangfortranslationpractice.Itisthefirstcomprehensivestudyofjuristic

    actsinChinaaftertheimplementationoftheCivilCode,basedonthefundamental

    principlesofcivillaw,combinedwiththerulesofjuristicactsintheCivilCodeand

    judicialprecedents.Drawingonnormsandtheoriesfromcomparativelaw,thebook

    conductsin-depthresearchongeneralissuesrelatedtojuristicacts,includingthe

    concept,valuefoundation,expressionofintent,establishmentandeffectivenessof

    juristicacts,obstaclestolegalacteffectiveness,andtheattributionofjuristicacts.It

    holdsgreatsignificanceforChinesecivillawstudies,equivalenttotheroleplayedby

    BrunsinGermancivillawstudies.Therefore,thetranslationofthisworkisof

    paramountimportance.
