Abstract

Withthedevelopmentofoursociety,therehasbeensignificantprogressin

thevolunteerservicefield,andtheagegroupsparticipatinginthevolunteerteam

areconstantlyexpanding.Volunteerteamsfromtheelderlytoyoungpeoplehave

beenestablishedthroughoutthecountry.Amongthem,schools,familiesand

societyattachgreatimportancetoattractingchildrentoparticipateinvolunteer

serviceactivities,allowingthemtoengageinsocialpracticeandexercisein

volunteerserviceactivities.Thegroupofleftbehindchildreninourcountryisvery

large.Duetotheiryoungageandtheinabilityoftheirparentstoaccompanythem

foralongtime,leftbehindchildrenaregenerallyaffectedintermsofphysiology,

psychology,andvalues.Thereisaneedforchannelstohelpleftbehindchildren

improvetheirabilitiesandvalues.Volunteerserviceisaneffectivewayforleft

behindchildrentoreceivepracticaltraininginthecommunityenvironment.

SincetheimplementationoftheHePlanin2018,HunanProvincehas

establishedsocialworkstationsin1900townshipstoimplementthelastmile

service,withafocusononeelderlyandoneyoung.Socialworkhasbecomean

importantforceinhelpingleftbehindchildren.ThisstudyisbasedontheSmall

VolunteersprojectoftheNTownSocialWorkStationoftheHePlan,and

examinesthepracticeofsocialworkinterventionincultivatingvolunteersforleft

behindchildren.Firstly,socialworkersusequestionnairesandinterviewsto

understandthesituationandvolunteerserviceneedsofleftbehindchildren,and

summarizetheirneedsinthreeaspects:improvingpracticalabilities,expanding

socialsupport,andparticipatingincommunityactivities.Then,a
