•WhenconnectingtheGP37W2-BG41-24V(hereafterreferredtoasthe

GP)spowercordterminalstothepowerterminalblock,checkfirst

thattheGPpowersupplyiscompletelyturnedOFF,viaabreaker,or

similarunit.

•DonotusepowerbeyondtheGPsspecifiedvoltagerange.Doingso

maycauseafireoranelectricshock.

•DonotmodifytheGPsdesign,sinceitmayleadtoafireoranelectric

shock.

•DonotusetheGPinanenvironmentwhereflammablegasesare

present,sinceoperatingtheGPmaycauseanexplosion.

•IftheGPslithiumbattery*1isincorrectlyreplaced(i.e.its+and–sides

arereversed),itmayexplode.Therefore,pleasecontactyourlocalGP

distributorpriortochangingthebattery.

•DonotuseGPtouchpanelswitchesinlife-threateningorimportant

disasterpreventionsituations.Forsafetyrelatedswitches,suchas

anemergencystopswitch,besuretouseaseparatemechanicalswitch.

•Topreventoperatorinjuryormachinedamage,besuretodesignyour

systemsothatmachinerywillnotmalfunctionduetoacommunication

faultbetweentheGPanditshostcontroller.

•TheGPisnotappropriateforusewithaircraftcontroldevices,aerospace

equipment,centraltrunkdatatrans-mission(communication)devices,

nuclearpowercontroldevices,ormedicallifesupportequipment,dueto

thesedevicesinherentrequirementsofextremelyhighlevelsofsafety

andreliability.

•WhenusingtheGPwithtransportationvehicles(trains,carsandships),

disasterandcrimepreventiondevices,varioustypesofsafetyequipment,

non-lifesupportre-latedmedicaldevices,etc.redundantand/orfailsafe

sys-temdesignsshouldbeusedtoensuretheproperdegreeofreliability

andsafety.
