Ourmemoryisamazing,butwhydowestillforgetthings?It’spossiblewedon’talwaysstoreinformationinourmemoryeffectively.Whenwedostoreinformation,weoftenmakeconnectionswithotherthings,whichhelpsusrecallitlater.Ifyoudon’thavetheseconnections,thenitcanbeeasiertoforget.Itisalsopossiblethatmemoriesdecayovertime.Astheyhavenotbeenrevisited,theirbiological“trace”becomesweak.
