Abstract

Theimportanceofwirelineformationtesting(WFT)interpretationincreaseswiththenewSECreservedefinitions.Thispresentation

addressesthe“reliability”ofWFTpressuredatatodefineProvedReservesinlightofthenewregulations.Wediscussdatacollection

withthedifferenttypesoftools,explainwhatconstituteshighorlowconfidencedata,andshowexamplesofdatatrendsthatmight

makeacompellingcaseforextendingaProvedcontactdowntoacertainpoint.Othertopicswillincludepretestpressurestability,

depthcorrelation,calculatinggradienterror,understandingaccuracyvs.precision,theimportanceofmobility,anddiscussthe

difficultyofinterpretingWFTgradientsinlowmobilityenvironments.
